To put sand in a pool filter, you can follow these general steps:

2.Remove the old sand from the filter if necessary.
3.Pour the new sand into the filter through the opening at the top. Be careful not to overfill the filter.
4.Spread out the sand evenly around the filter.

6.Turn on the pump and slowly open the valve on top of the filter to allow water to flow into the filter.
